EDB will give 10 billion tenge for the financing of clients’ leasing operations to PJSC ROSBANK

Eurasian Development Bank and PJSC ROSBANK signed an agreement for the granting of 10 billion tenge credit line to finance clients’ leasing operations.
The signing ceremony was held on 29 November 2019 in Moscow during the holding of XIV international conference “Eurasian economic integration” by EDB. Dmitry Ladikov-Roev, Member of the Management Board, Managing Director for Assets and Liabilities, and Sergey Kozelkov, Senior Vice-President, Director of Financial Institution Department, put their signatures under the document. The project realization implies the purchase of cars on the territory of Kazakhstan Republic by subborrowers for giving them in operational rent (leasing) to legal entities and individuals.
“The signing of this credit agreement is a landmark event for Eurasian Development Bank as the financing is given in Kazakh national currency, in which a part of Rosbank clients’ business is realized. The financing of projects in national currencies is a prior task for EDB. It allows avoiding extra risks and costs in mutual accounting. Moreover, the project is planned to realize in a financial sector that is in the prior directions of investment activity of the Bank”, Dmitry Ladikov-Roev, Member of the Management Board, Managing Director for Assets and Liabilities.
