From neurohabilitation for children to inclusive workshop: the finalists of all-Russian program of Rosbank “START DIFFERENTLY” were announced

Rosbank and Impact Hub Moscow announced the names of 12 projects that entered the finals of the all-Russian contest program of Rosbank for social entrepreneurs and non-profit organizations that improve lives of the people with disabilities called “START DIFFERENTLY”.
152 applications from 47 regions of Russia and two foreign countries like Belarus and Israel were received for the contest. The selection of projects lasted one month. The applications were assessed by the specialists in the sphere of social entrepreneurship, inclusion, business modelling and Rosbank experts. The members of the jury were guided by the following criteria to choose finalists: social significance of the problem, efficiency and innovation of the solution, potential of a financial sustainability of the business model as well as the motivation of the team.
“START DIFFERENTLY” demonstrated good results last year. The participants of the program reached positive financial results as it is the main goal of the project. This year a lot of attention will be paid to the use of digital technologies for business development and building of a sustainable business-model. PJSC Rostelecom, partners of the program will work on it together with Rosbank specialists. We expect that after the end of the program, thanks to professional mentoring and consultations of our experts, the participants will demonstrate a qualitative growth in the spheres of finance management and finance planning, in the work with remote channels and services as well as in marketing, sales, business planning and product management”, Elena Kojadei, Director of Communications and Advertising Department of Rosbank.

In addition to representatives of Rosbank and Impact Hub Moscow, the jury entered Yuliana Sokolenko (Rostelecom), Olga Ryabova (independent expert on social entrepreneurship), Anna Krastanova (member of the Expert Council for development of social entrepreneurship in the state Duma), Lyudmila Golubkova (Astarta Capital), Yulia Popova (Abbott Nutrition) and Vladimir Vayner (Gladwell).
On September 11-13, the finalists will gather in Moscow for an introductory conference, the program of which includes workshops and communication with experts and curators. Then the distance acceleration program, designed for 10 weeks, will begin. Participants will develop competencies in 5 areas: social contribution, work with the product, sales, promotion and Finance.
After passing the development program, social entrepreneurs will compete for grants and the main prize. The prize Fund of the program is 450 thousand rubles, and the Grand Prix winner will go to the educational intensive in Europe. The participant who implements digital tools in the work of his company more effectively than others will receive a special prize from Rostelecom.
