Rosbank and Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies, have started transmitting host-to-host financial messages using the Transit 2.0 digital platform of the National Settlement Depository (NSD).

Transit 2.0 provides secure data exchange between Severstal's corporate system and Rosbank's host-to-host service.

NSD's modern multibank service is designed for high-speed exchange of financial messages with counterparties. The platform allows you to unify and standardize the interaction of system participants as much as possible, to increase its efficiency and security.

Alexey Yasakov, Head of CMIB Digital Solutions Center at Rosbank: "Being an experienced participant of the Transit 2.0 platform, Rosbank knows how this solution changes radically the relationship between corporations and credit organizations. We are sure that our partnership with Severstal will get new opportunities for development thanks to working on one convenient platform — "Transit 2.0 "NSD".

Alexander Nam, Managing Director for Technological Services of NSD: "We are pleased to continue our efficient cooperation with Severstal. New clients are always new opportunities for the product itself. Thanks to the client's wishes, the platform acquires new functionality, which is then used by all participants of the financial market."

Alexey Kulichenko, Deputy General Director for Finance and Economics, Severstal: "The introduction of advanced technologies is the foundation of Severstal's digital transformation. The launch of the Transit 2.0 platform will improve the treasury function for working with partner banks. The scale of our company's operations requires solutions that are universal for every corporation."
