Nizhny Novgorod residents placed twice as more funds on the saving accounts and opened three times more credit cards in 2017 in Rosbank

As a result of 2017 Rosbank in Nizhny Novgorod region showed growth in all directions of retail business. In particular, the residents that are clients of the bank opened three times more credit cards than in 2016. Total sales sum amounted to 136 million rubles. The main growth factor is an active implementation of co-branding offers in a bank product line. Thus, in 2017, the most popular cards were “Sverkhkarta+” and “Avtokarta” with 7% and 5% cashback respectively. Also, such co-brands as RZHD and OKEY were popular and they gave an option of bonus saving and other preferences.

Rosbank deposit portfolio in the region increased by 38%, reaching 5,5 billion rubles. The most popular deposit, as earlier, was “150 years of reliability” one. The fund increase on the current and saving accounts amounted 86% and account balances exceeded 3,4 billion rubles that is two times more than in 2016. The total number of active Rosbank clients in Nizhny Novgorod and its region exceeded 43 000 people.

The opening of Rosbank main office of a new format in the region was a significant event in 2017. In the outlet situated in the center of Nizhny Novgorod on 55A Belyakova St. a “one shop-one stop” service approach is realized. It allows a client to accomplish all the operations, including cash work, at one manager. The office is equipped with tablets with the help of which clients can manage various operations in Internet-bank and leave feedback or proposal on the improvement of its operation.

Apart from that, in 2017 Rosbank opened the pioneer regional office for the service of VIP clients and introduced a new brand – L’Hermitage Private Banking in Nizhny Novgorod. The bank performed a significant growth in VIP-service direction in Nizhny Novgorod Region. Client base for the period of 2017 increased by 45%. During the year bank clients placed more than 295 million rubles on deposits and more than 51 million rubles on the life insurance programs. Total deposit portfolio, including foreign currency deposits, exceeded 1,9 million rubles. Fund volume on the current accounts increased by 1,08 billion rubles: as of the end of 2017 it exceeded 1,46 billion rubles.
