    23 June

Rosbank supported charitable organizations via the "Rapid Response Fund” program of the philanthropy development charitable fund "KAF".

NPOs that continue to help developing the skills and qualities necessary for independent living and professional integration of young people (14-25 years old) with disabilities or children in orphanages in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic could apply for assistance. Support was rendered to 10 organizations from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Saint Petersburg and Samara (funds “Unity” , “Big Change”, “Sport for Life”, “Open Doors” Foundation, “Love Syndrome”, Therapeutic Pedagogy Center, “Wings of Life”, Uppsala Circus, Inclusive Resource Center and Center for autism problems).

"The Rapid Response Fund program was established by “KAF” to support non-profit organizations that help people due to the pandemic. The COVID-19 pandemic and the measures being taken to slow it down have seriously affected the lives of thousands of people. This means that charitable organizations have received more wards. The Rapid Response Fund supports Russian NPOs that help doctors, the elderly and adults with disabilities, families in difficult situations, the homeless, adults and children living in social institutions," Maria Chertok, Director of the "KAF" charitable fund.

"Many traditional programs of Rosbank are aimed at education, professional integration and socialization of young people with disabilities and graduates of orphanages. We can't afford to lose experts in this field now, because this, among other obvious serious consequences, could slow down the development of the sector and even set it back several years. Our funds are aimed at supporting various forms of assistance, including online one: psychological assistance, mentoring, additional education, sports classes, legal advice, and much more. We hope that our contribution, in addition to direct support for the beneficiaries, will help to preserve the professional teams of NPOs, " Ekaterina Pluzhnik, Head of CSR Unit of Rosbank.
