Rosbank and Societe Generale Insurance launched a corporate scholarship program for MGIMO students. The initial lecture of the course was held on September 17, where Ilya Polyakov, CEO of Rosbank, delivered a lecture.
The students of 3rd and 4th course of bachelor’s program and the students of the 1st and 2nd courses of master’s program from any faculty and specialization have an opportunity to get a scholarship.
In order to participate in the contest, the candidates should have a high rating of academic performance (not less than 85%), to carry out an active scientific work on the chosen academic study and to take an active part in a social life of the faculty and the university.
The selection of candidates is carried out in three stages: a distance selection on the correspondence to basic criteria, passing of test that defines logical and analytical skills and writing of essay on the required topic.
As a result of selection, 9 students will be chosen that will get a scholarship of 12 500 rubles monthly during the academic year.
“The establishment of a scholarship for talented MGIMO students is a logical continuation of the programs realized by Societe Generale Group in Russia that are aimed at the support and education of talented youth. MGIMO is one of the leading universities of the country and high-class specialists graduate from it. They are able to strengthen the team of any organization. There are many MGIMO graduates that work in the Group, in top-management in particular, and we expect that due to the scholarship program we will manage to arouse interest and attract more students who will choose Rosbank for the continuation of internship and the beginning of their professional career”, Ilya Polyakov, CEO of Rosbank.
In 2018, Rosbank and MGIMO closed a frame partnership agreement aimed at the development of educational, scientific, research and professionally oriented activities. The agreement was signed in the year of the 60th anniversary of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
