Rosbank delegation took part in FINOPOLIS 2018 forum

On 17-19 of October, a forum of innovational financial technologies called FINOPOLIS 2018 was held in Sochi. Rosbank delegation headed by Ilya Polyakov, CEO of Rosbank, took part in the events of the forum. Denis Sotin, Member of the Management Board-IT Director of Rosbank, and the representatives of digital-divisions and Innovation and Changes Implementation Department also entered the delegation. Rosbank acted as an official partner of Youth Day of the forum.

Ilya Polyakov took part in two panel discussions of the forum: ”New competitors and new alliances. FinTech as a driver for the development of competitive market” and FinTech as a Platform: from pilots to real solutions”. The topics as cybersecurity, remote identification, boosting of technological services and expertise in IT, state data monetization, fast payments, marketplaces and main trends in the development of banking sector were touched upon during the discussions.

Denis Sotin delivered an open lecture called “On the approaches to the creation of digital products and services”, sharing his point of view on the development of technological banking products with the audience.

During the Youth Day of the forum, the representatives of Rosbank digital team, Vitaly Mazurevich, Alexey Borodkin and Roman Shelekhov, taught a master class called “How digital products are created: analytics-project work-design” and told the listeners on how to build a product strategy, what data to use while developing the product, how to think over the engineering of the product from the get go and not make mistakes and how to provide for the stable development of the product in the long run.

Vasily Voronov and Vladimir Baydusov, Managing Directors of Innovation and Changes Implementation Department, acted as members of the jury of the Youth Day of the forum and of the startup contest respectively.

More than 1400 participants from 37 countries participated in FINOPOLIS 2018. 3 panel discussions, 12 section discussions, 3 round tables and 7 open lectures took place on the forum.
