Rosbank head office is among the «greenest» offices in Russia

    12 January

Rosbank got a high appraisal for an environmental friendliness of head office (Mashi Poryvaevoy, 34) and entered «Green offices in Russia 2017» rating. This is the only independent Russian rating, which compares offices on environmental aspects – from power and waste management to carbon footprint calculation and environmental awareness of employees.

Overall, 1187 employees of 42 offices of different companies took part in the research. 33 companies broke the minimal threshold of 40 points and entered the final rating.

The specialty of this year rating is an existence of two forms: to the form for specialists of dedicated units the form for all employees was added. This innovation helped rating organizers to get a more complex representation of offices.

By the results of the study Rosbank head office got 60 points, which is measured as 4 stars out of 5. It has become possible because of the ecologization of the bank’s operational processes (in particular, the collection of waste paper and batteries for recycling, the automatic shutdown of lighting during non-working hours, the improvement of the glazing characteristics to reduce heat losses, the use of certified cleaning solutions with environmental labeling, etc) and the implementation of specialized projects: «SmartPrinting» program of economic use of office paper, planting plants in The Apothecary Garden.
