The rating agency (RAEX) published 23d rating of the Russian largest companies. Rosbank is included ranking 11th place by volume of sales in the banking sector with the result of 97 512 million rubles in 2016. In total, Rosbank took 122d place among Russian companies with the net profit – 3 104 million rubles.

The main criteria for creating a rating of TOP-600 Russian largest companies is a sales revenue volume (works and services) in 2016. In cases where this indicator can’t be applied because of the specific character of the company’s activity (for example, for banks, insurance and leasing companies, National Pension Fund), the data is taken from a financial statement, closest to it in terms of economic meaning.

This year rating includes new industries – leasing companies and private pensionary funds.

Overall, total revenue of the companies included in the rating increased in 2016 by 5,8%. Ratio of companies investments to their volume is at the minimal level for the entire existence of the rating – 13,2%. The main investment load accounts for state-owned companies, for them this indicator is 19,1%, which is several times higher than the results of private domestic enterprises (9.2%) and foreign firms (4.5%).

Rating compiler also emphasized that nowadays the driver of growth in rating indicators include such industries as an agribusiness, retail networks and a machinery-producing industry. One of the most important driving forces of the large Russian business is still massive projects, most of them are orientated to the East.
