Rosbank acted as the mandated lead arranger, coordinator, documentation agent and facility agent for the new syndicated loan of OJSC “UMMC” in the total amount of 15 billion rubles.

In addition to Rosbank, the group of banks participating in the syndicate includes leading Russian banks and an international financial organization - the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). The transaction was closed in the format of a syndicated loan for a term of 5 years.

"We are grateful to our client, OJSC “UMMC”, for the honor given to Rosbank to coordinate a new syndicated lending transaction, which once again confirms the long-term partnership between Rosbank and the UMMC Group, one of the leading Russian industrial manufacturers. The market responded positively to the company's interest in new financing, which was reflected in the deal oversubscription. We are glad that in addition to UMMC's key relationship banks, a new partner, one of the international development institutions has shown interest in participating in the facility. We, along with other banks that took part in the new club deal, are pleased to support our client in implementing his ambitious development strategy," said Alexey Ievlev, Head of Corporate Business Directorate of Rosbank.

"While closing this transaction on another syndicated loan, I would like to highlight the interest shown in the transaction by our foreign and Russian partner banks, as well as the international financial organization Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). We highly appreciate the professionalism and level of cooperation of the teams of our partners - PJSC ROSBANK (Societe Generale Group), PJSC Sberbank, PJSC Moscow Credit Bank and PJSC Bank Saint Petersburg, which play leading roles in the syndicated lending market in Russia. It is worth noting that this transaction marked the beginning of cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank, a development bank that is very active in the Eurasian space, a region that is significantly important for our group," commented Andrey Kozitsyn, General Director of OJSC UMMC.
