Rosbank was awarded for the webpage adaptation for the visually impaired
- 27 December
Rosbank was awarded a USABILITYLAB certificate for the availability of the webpage for the people with vision disorders on a meeting of a CBR workgroup on the improvement of the availability of financial services for the physically challenged.
Despite the fact that the state of affairs in the field of the availability of the industry is not satisfactory at the moment, banks implement more and more positive changes and start thinking about the users with disabilities. Dmitry Silaev, Commercial Director of USABILITYLAB company, highlighted Rosbank for the webpage image settings panel for the people with various eyesight disorders and granted the certificate as a sign of USABILITYLAB approval and appreciation of the efforts that the bank makes on the improvement of the availability of its solutions for all the users.
“The adaptation of the bank services for the disabled people is one of the important aspects of our activity on the improvement of socialization level of the physically challenged people. The bank webpage is both a hallmark and a source of information on its activities and services and we think that this information should be available for everyone. The USABILITYLAB appreciation of our work on the webpage adaptation for the visually impaired means that we move in a right direction”, Elena Kojadey, Director of Corporate Communications and Advertising Department of Rosbank.
“One of the solutions in the field of availability that I would like to highlight is a function that allows setting the text size and contrast on the webpage. We are ready to share the experience of the development of such functions with colleagues from other banks on the open meetings. Recently we told about our ideas on the meeting of the CBR workgroup on the availability of financial services for the disabled people. The workgroup solves practical tasks and we aim at collaboration with them in future”, Dmitry Silaev, Commercial Director of USABILITYLAB company.
