The Central Bank of Russia approved Ilya Polyakov's candidacy for the position of Chairman of Rosbank Management Board

Ilya Polyakov officially took office as CEO of Rosbank. The Central Bank of Russia approved his candidacy for the post of head of the bank.
In early April, the Board of Directors of Rosbank initiated the process of appointing Ilya Polyakov as Chairman of the Management Board of the bank, and starting from April 14th he has been heading the bank as acting CEO.
Ilya Polyakov joined Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking team in Paris in 2001 and held various positions in the Natural Resources Division. In October 2010, Ilya was appointed as Senior Banker. Since April 2011 he was global Co-Head of Metals & Mining within the Natural Resources and Energy Department in addition to his responsibilities as Senior Banker in charge of global relationship and strategic advisory for several Metals & Mining clients in Russia and the CIS region. In February 2013, Ilya Polyakov was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosbank in charge of Corporate business as Head of Coverage and Investment Banking for Russia/CIS, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. In September 2016 he became First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rosbank with additional responsibilities as head of Capital Markets & Investment Banking and Securities Services.
In May 2018, Ilya Polyakov appointed as Chairman of the Management Board of Rosbank.
