Green Office
In 2017, Rosbank won a grant in the Environment Efficiency Award for the waste paper collection program. In 2017, experts from Ecobureau GREENS and HPBS awarded 4 stars out of 5 possible in rating the “Green Offices of Russia 2017” to the head office for high environmental friendliness. As part of the program Rosbank:
- In a year and a half, handed over 100 tons of waste paper for recycling.
- Reduced paper consumption twice.
- Switched to electronic document management.
- Transferred for recycling about 600 kg of batteries and accumulators.
- Installed energy efficient fluorescent lamps in offices.
"Blooming City" project
Since 2013, Rosbank has been implementing the “Blooming City” environmental project.
In 2016, the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University "Apothecary Garden" joined it.
As part of the project hundreds of employees of Societe Generale group companies:
- Planted about 1000 trees and perennial bushes in Moscow.
- In 2015, Izmailovsky Park was decorated with garden violets.
- In 2016, a 150-meter alley of paniculate hydrangea was planted in the Botanical Garden.
- In 2017, a hundred–meter bush mixborder and a multi–colored chrysanthemum necklace were presented to the garden.
- In 2018, about 400 hostas and an alley of tulips were planted on the territory of the same garden, which this spring will delight visitors with bright blooming.
SG Environment Efficiency Award
In 2015, Rosbank won a grant in the Environment Efficiency Award for the waste paper collection program.
In 2017, Rosbank implemented a water supply recycling system at a corporate car wash, reducing the consumption of clean water and reducing the discharge of pollutants into sewage.
