Mikhail Bratanov among the best Nonexecutive Directors
Mikhail Bratanov, Head of Rosbank Securities Services Department and Societe Generale Securities Services in Russia and CIS, entered Top-50 list of the best Nonexecutive Directors in Russia 2015 according to ranking of experts in the field of corporate management.
The rating is delivered by Association of Nonexecutive Directors (AND) and Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in cooperation with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Top list is published ahead of “Director of the year” National Award.
Rating procedures involved operating of different metrics including job experience in any Directors Boards either in companies with Russian or international listing or in companies with high level capitalization.
The authors of research analysed Directors Board members' achievements of the leading Russian companies in order to choose candidates who mostly contribute to the development of corporate management in Russia.
The rankings have been annually issued since 2012. According to AND, today a professional Nonexecutive director, Board of Directors member in Public Russian companies, should demonstrate competence in finance and investment, GR and also possess significant management skills.
Mikhail Bratanov has a 20-year experience in the banking and securities market. His professionalism and qualification for Corporate Director position is confirmed by the graduated Institute of UK Directors as well as by his longstanding experience in various Boards of Directors’ activity. Since 2011 he is a member of Supervisory Board at Moscow Exchange not only holding the position of Budgetary Commission Chairman, but also participating in other Commissions of Supervisory Board.
Since 2008 Mikhail Bratanov is a member of a wide range of Russian and International organizations and professional associations for corporate management such as Professional Association of Registrars, Transfer-Agents and Depository; Council on Custody business of National Stock Association; Working group for the establishment of International Financial Center in Moscow.
