Rosbank received BOsfera award in ‘Social project’ nomination
On March 24, the 4th annual awarding ceremony for innovations and achievements in the financial industry ‘Banking sphere’ (Bosfera) was held. Rosbank has received the award in the ‘Social project’ nomination for support of the Pediatric Burns Center at Speransky Hospital (December 2015).
Rosbank has been implementing the ‘Charity instead of souvenirs’ programme over the past 6 years. Since 2009, Rosbank allocates the part of its promotional campaign budget to purchase and provide modern equipment to the health centers and hospitals in various regions of Russia. The bank has already provided regional maternity homes with 9 modern incubators for newborns, as well as modern dopplerograph and hardware-software complex to Saint Petersburg Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled named after G.A. Albrecht. The project allowed to provide the Pediatric Burns Center at Speransky Hospital, Moscow, with three hot air mattresses and consumables for plasma sterilizer for specialized medical care to children with thermal injuries from all over Russia.Every year the center takes care of 1200-1300 patients aged from 0 to 18 years old.
Rosbank Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Ulan Ilishkin commented: "Rosbank was one of the first that joined the ‘Charity instead of souvenirs’ initiative. BOsfera award was established in 2012 by the ‘Banking review’ magazine. The competition is annually held, the winners are chosen by the expert council, which includes about 70 experts. Selection is conducted by secret ballot voting.
